The government set to build 14 Vocational schools
WDA says that after getting a loan of $ 81 million, around Rwf 69 billion, this loan is going to help in building vocational schools in different districts which don’t have such schools.
Jerome Gasana, the president of WDA, communicated that they presented their project to the government of India and got a loan of $ 81 million to multiply schools of arts in our country.
He says that this amount will help in the construction of 14 schools in different district of our country.
He told The New Times that they have the project of multiplying schools of arts to help around 60% of students who finished their fundamental studies to get schools. To achieve this, we need to work hard and as he mentioned the project is to build at least a school in a district and they started by districts which do not have those schools.
Districts which will get these schools first are Nyarugenge, Gakenke, Burera, Nyamasheke, Gatsiro, Rwamagana, Kirehe, Nyagatare, and Nyanza.
The project of the government is that at least 60% of students who finished their fundamental studies enter the schools of arts to promote the development based on skills.
Rwandan government prepares to create around 200 thousand jobs not based on agriculture, and these schools will be the key to achieve this.
