New music school in Kigali, new venture, new adventure: Fanaro Mary

The founder of Rwanda rocks launched her 1st music school in Kigali and 8th in Africa.

It was an event full of joy,music ambiance and performances from students and high rated musicians such Hope the winner of Tusker Project Fame Season 4 and MCed by Arthur Nkusi local Rwanda comedian.

Talking with; Maria Fanaro with enthusiasm and happiness is glad of current students’ performance. Fanaro said when I see from the lighting to the designers, it is going well. When I see the students how they perform I feel good because I had a panick before but the music school worked.

Her idea of starting a music school came in adventure when visiting Rwanda. She mentioned I was in tour and my guide who was piano teacher urged me to start a music school. Right away, I felt I can do it and here we are now. I have 7 schools in Senegal; Mali; Malawi and now the 8th school is in the capital city of Rwanda.

The music school is to help local children and young people to go for their new adventure and creativity.

This school is for children to explore their creativity or anything they want or wish to be. All children should have Form of music education because It unlocks their mind in different improves their education. It give confidence, courage and freedom to be creative .Fanaro added.

The students learn Guitar, drum and composition and each class have 12 students.
The school is open to music foundations, Paying students as well as scholarships.
